The problem
Workers from Bangladesh applying for jobs in Saudi Arabia sit a skills exam. Many candidates are more comfortable in Bengali than English, and recruiting agencies had no simple way to help them practise.
What I built
A complete exam system where every question exists in Bengali and English, with a language switch on every screen.
For candidates: choose a subject such as loading and unloading or warehouse work, then sit a 15-question exam against a 25-minute timer. A side panel jumps between questions, and the results screen shows a pass or fail at 60% with every answer marked.
For the agency: an admin panel to add questions in both languages, manage subjects and candidate accounts, and see every result. Questions can be imported in bulk by uploading a Word document in a simple format.
It runs entirely in the browser with no server or database to pay for, and keeps working offline after the first load.
Who it is for
Bangladeshi manpower recruiting agencies preparing candidates before the real exam. I also put together the pitch deck and outreach plan for offering it to agencies.
